What I liked most about the apartment, which I had already seen on the map when I booked it, was the location. I was pleasantly surprised by the balcony and the sunlight that streamed in every morning through the three windows overlooking it: two in the three bedrooms and the living room window—truly divine! The view of the Gothic church with its clock tower from those windows was also beautiful, both day and night! The blinds could have been up when we arrived, because the apartment is very bright. However, when we arrived at midday, the blinds were down and it was like a tomb! The first impression wasn't great in that regard, but after that, it was a pleasure! To find a dustpan and broom, we had to open an interior window (in the kitchen) and jump down onto the internal balcony to get them. The first time we showered, the shower drain was clogged. They could have done a proper check before handing it over. We also found a glass of water and cigarette butts on the balcony, next to a plastic chair... obviously the previous guests had smoked. We told the host about this, even sending a photo, but the glass with the butts was still there until we left the apartment! The kitchen could be better equipped. When a family travels to an apartment with a kitchen, living room, etc., they expect to cook something, have a snack, and there aren't any glasses, for example. Anyway, these are all small details that in no way detract from how good our stay was, but they do make a difference.

location was amazing! balcony looked onto a beautiful church and square with lots of cafes. and best part...one block from the beach where we surfed daily! not to mention easy walk to old town and other attractions. plus walking distance to bus station! we struggled a little with keys...but mostly user error!

Great location, easy walking distance to stores, restaurants, and the beach. Apartment was comfortable with plenty of space. There was loud street noise until 2am on Friday & Saturday.
