Very new and modern room that was like in the photos. Also beautiful bathroom, and good bed and pillows. Aircondition could also be used for heating. Convenient location very close to Amara Euskotren train station. There were also some nice bars/restaurants and a grocery store on the street next to the hotel. Maybe 20 min walk to the old town, 15 min to the beach – if you stay long, maybe the ideal location is a little bit closer to that, but for short stays the location is perfect. I was a bit confused when they started communicating via WhatsApp instead of Booking, because Booking warns about scam via WhatsApp etc., but it was ok and all communication was nice. I never saw the owner, but they seemed like a good and helpful person from the messages 🙂 It is self check-in, and I am always a bit worried about that, but it worked fine (a bit complicated with three locks, but I figured it out).

Super new and modern and clean with great mini split, modern huge bathroom and balconies with easy to use doors that both open and tilt inwards The lock system instructions in English were unclear but were able to get help and clarity from the manager - rewrite the English to help make it clearer. Once in the system worked great (door to outside, door to units and the unit door) three locks in total to get in.

All new/top renovated, super pillows; The location is sensational - right in the middle of everything, but in a nice neighborhood where you have everything at your doorstep, from supermarkets to cafes/bars. Great connections also by public transport. I was even lucky enough to get into the apartment earlier, which worked well in communication via WhatsApp. You are well received/informed and get tips upon arrival on where to find things, what is recommended, etc. Since it is an apartment, there is no one on site for check-in and access to the main entrance was via a physical key that unfortunately was a bit sticky. With the window closed, the noise level is perfectly fine (because it's soundproofed), as soon as you open the window, you have the typical street/restaurant noise.
